Blueberries for Anne

Just can't get enough blueberrying! Our friend Paul has a tremendous number of blueberries - both wild and cultivated. (Yes, this is the same Paul who spent all last summer helping Bob build our house.) He generously allows me to re-enact one of my favorite children's books of all time.

Ka-plink, Ka-plank, Ka-plunk! Grandma & Baby M harvesting the plump little blue berries on a beautiful August morning ... is there anything more wonderful?

I also love picking blueberries and the book Blueberries for Sal. :)

I'm so envious! My husband's family's place usually has over 10 acres of wild blueberries - but this year the crop was very sparse.

When are we going to receive our blueberry shipment? Hmm? The husband would like to know.

Tonggu Momma, blueberries are for pickup only, sorry. Guess you'll have to come visit! =)

I camped with several friends on some private property in Vermontville over this past weekend. Not as many blueberries there as last few years, but plenty for Sunday b'fast of blueberry pancakes. Yum!
