A Family Project, or Bob learns it's best to work alone

This morning, The Husband decided it would be a good idea for the whole family to work on the log house TOGETHER.   In theory, he was right.  In practice?  Not so much.

Here's Bob working on something-or-other framework for the kitchen cabinets:

 "Hey Daddy -- Whatcha doing?"

"Me too!"

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Urghhh.

Ug.  "DAAAADDYYYYY!"

"The 10 cents per board rid of its nails bounty doesn't count if *I* do it, G."

Bob did about 15 minutes of work in an hour and 1/2.  We're just no help.

Well, that's not strictly true.  I handed him a level and some screws.  Oh- and a square once.  AND I used the shop vac to suck up all the sawdust around the saw.  Of course, Bob had to go with me down to the shop to get it....

But we were together as a family today, doggonit!  A whiny, frustratingly inept family that Bob surely regrets letting into his log project...  but we were together!

You certainly have been making progress,... looks great. I and like your new blog background, too. I've been away for several weeks and only home once in a while,... I'll be a better blog neighbor when summer is over. :)

And really, that's all that matters. I mean, being TOGETHER at an F3 event is the meaning of life.
