Spring View
This is the view from the upper windows (looking down toward The Lake) now that it's Spring!
Remember the view this winter? When the trees are fully in leaf I don't think we'll be able to even see the lake from this angle. But, since my increasingly hermit-like self is already planning to plant huge hedges to hide behind, it's just fine with me.
Oh, and in unrelated news: guess who shaved his "hockey beard."
No, it wasn't a "hermit beard." That's what I'm growing.

I had the most beautiful view of the prairie from our bedroom balcony, then the pine trees grew up. I can't get my husband to cut them. Someday I'm going down there with a chainsaw! It looks like you are making progress.
